Tony Lo

Partner & COO

Tony is a Partner and the COO of Sky9 Capital. Tony leads Sky9’s operations. Tony has a unique combination of investing and operating backgrounds, having been a serial entrepreneur, venture capital investor, and strategy consultant in both China and Silicon Valley. Most recently, Tony has been a partner with TZG Partners since 2006. TZG is an in-house incubation facility where the principals initiate new enterprises, acting together as co-founders and often as the new company’s first acting CEO. Businesses that Tony co-founded include Q Towers International, China’s first third-party cell tower co-location company; Serenity Post-Natal Wellness Centers, a wellness center and hotel for newborns and new mothers; and Huali, a leading online-to-offline flower supply chain business.

Prior to that, Tony was a Partner of Celsius Capital, a China-focused early-stage venture capital firm, where he focused on telecom technology and services. Tony started his investment career in Silicon Valley as an Associate at Advanced Technology Ventures and later an Associate Partner at Mobius Venture Capital (formerly known as Softbank Technology Ventures). Tony had also served as the General Manager of William Kent International (Beijing), a strategy consulting firm focused on globalization for Fortune 500 clients.

Tony received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.
