Bob Xu

Mr. Xiaoping “Bob” Xu is a member of the Sky9 Capital Board of Advisors. Mr. Xu is the founder of ZhenFund and is one of China’s most renowned angel investors. 

Bob was the founder of New Oriental Education and Technology Group (NYSE: EDU), China’s largest private provider of educational training and services. He was a member of the Board of Directors and the head of New Oriental Cultural Research Institute. Bob is highly influential with Chinese returnees from abroad, because he is a popular speaker and successful author about his own experiences. He started ZhenFund in 2010.

Bob graduated from China’s Central Conservatory of Music in 1983, and he resided in the US and Canada from 1987 to 1995. He received his Master’s degree from the University of Saskatchewan.
